I am very familiar with this…I have seen this first hand…my response to being part of a church that preached the social Gospel…many would not even help the people within the church…they stepped over the people in the church that had needs so they could do something bigger…additionally I thought if you really loved these people you are serving… the Gospel should be shared…I do however believe that you can work somewhere and after you established a friendship have an opportunity to share…but I am finding most people just want to do good works and think that if they work hard that the goood works in itself is a statement of faith??? This is goofy….Paul asks for boldness to speak…I need boldness…If you truly love the people you want them to hear the Gospel.
