Ok…you guys took the 1st one. But there’s a long way to go in the series.

    GO STARS!! :)

Did the Red Wings win Mike?

So far… The Playoff rounds are all best-of-seven, and the Wings took the first two (the second even without Franzen, who’s been unbelievable in the postseason) at the Joe, so the series goes to Dallas for the next two. If the Stars pull a win out of their hats, then it goes back to the Joe for Game 5, and then if a miracle happens it goes back to Dallas for Game 6, then in the exceedingly unlikely event the series gets forced to seven games, Game 7 is at the Joe.

Congrats to your Wings on the latest. But I’m still hoping for their luck to change for the worse. :)

    GO STARS!!

The Stars at night (and sometimes during the day), are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas (and sometimes Michigan)!

Hey - I respect the Stars. Especially Modano and Turco. It’s hard not to root for the local boys (Modano - highest-scoring American-born player; Turco - went to U of M).

But the Wings will take the West.

Statistically (only two teams in history have come back from a 3-0 series deficit in the playoffs), and realistically (the Wings are the best team in the league this year, and for the first time in the last six years, I can honestly say there’s a real hunger for the Cup in them…they just have to get de-spook-ified).

I almost had to. I’m in a hotel in VA for three days of “tentmaking”, and I was thrilled to see that VS. carries the game here.

BTW - Wings scored first.

    I can’t wait!

Game 5, “if necessary,” will be the first day of the Murrieta Conference.

If it goes that far, it’d be real nice to celebrate the Cup win with my fellows, especially those of the Pennsylvania persuasion…
