Dude,

Allright, finally you're reading that book !!!

You know, the reason why I bought so many of those books and sent them out to every pastor who would promise to read them was because I found it and a bunch more of them in the discount bin, and paid I just a couple of bucks for it. Then, when I read the book I was blown away and went back and bought the whole bunch of them.

I think the book the book wasn't selling because today pastors don't want to admit that they pastor a small church and they don't want to learn how to pastor a small church they want to learn how to pastor a mega church, because they want a big church.

But, as pastors we need to learn what our role as pastors and leaders should be from the scriptures not from the latest church growth scam concept. The book teaches you what spiritual leadership does and how that it is through being an effective spiritual leader you are going to have a healthy church. The book talks also about the dynamics of a small church and if you don't pay attention to those how that you are not going to be effective. These principles apply though no matter how big your church is.

The book nails one of your's and my favorite topics relative to this church planting pastoring thing, "What does it mean to be successful?"

Thanks Mike.
